When I created Eye of Space (Helix Nebula), my goal was not only to represent a cosmic object, but to convey a feeling of wonder before the greatness of the Universe and the mystery that surrounds all existence.

Space has always inspired me with its beauty, scale and harmony. When we look at the stars, we realize how vast the world around us is and how incredible the existence of the Universe itself is. In this greatness, many people see the presence of a higher design — God, who created this endless order, beauty and harmony.

This painting became my reflection on the connection between humanity and something far greater than what we can see or fully understand.

The Idea Behind the Painting

At the center of the composition is the Helix Nebula (NGC 7293) — one of the most famous deep-space objects, located approximately 650 light-years from Earth.

Its unusual shape resembles a giant cosmic eye. For me, this image became a symbol of observation, wisdom and the eternal movement of the Universe. I saw in this structure not only a scientific phenomenon, but something deeper — a reminder of the beauty of creation.

The Creation Process

The work on Eye of Space (Helix Nebula) began with studying images of space and searching for a way to express not only the appearance of the nebula, but also its emotional impact.

I wanted to show not simply a collection of stars and gases, but the feeling of infinite space, where light travels for hundreds and thousands of years before reaching us.

I created the painting gradually, layer by layer. Acrylic paints allowed me to capture the depth of cosmic space, delicate transitions of light and the richness of colors.

Each layer added a new element: the glow of the nebula, the depth of the dark universe, the movement of light and countless stars that remind us of the incredible scale of existence.

Details That Reveal the Cosmos

When viewing the painting closely, you can discover many subtle elements: color transitions, glowing areas, the structure of the nebula and the texture created by hand.

For me, details are a way to bring the viewer closer to the feeling of real space. Every small star becomes part of a much larger story that exists beyond human time.

The Final Stage

After completing the painting process, I cover the artwork with several layers of protective varnish. This preserves the depth of colors, protects the surface and enhances the texture of the artwork.

Each painting is created by hand, so it contains not only an image, but also the energy of the creative process, thoughts and emotions of the artist.

The Meaning of the Artwork

Eye of Space (Helix Nebula) is more than an image of the cosmos for me.

It is a reflection on eternity, beauty and the mystery of existence. When we look at the scale of the Universe, we feel humility and admiration for the power behind this incredible harmony and order.

This artwork was created for those who love space, appreciate authentic art and feel a connection with something greater — with nature, the Universe and the deeper meaning that each person discovers in their own way.
